The Over-Amstel Boerderij team loves showing you what is so special about their trade. For example, you can discover the flavours of the polder and the seasons with our chef Herb. And our cheese maker Dewi? She is happy to teach you..

On Saturday, 14 December, our maître Emanuel, together with an experienced wine expert, will guide you on a journey through surprising and elegant wines paired with complementary dishes. What makes this Wine & Food Tasting special is the focus on local wines from the region. Even with less sunshine, these wines develop refreshing flavours and subtle character. From there, we’ll venture further afield to our sister companies in Italy and the renowned wine country of South Africa. The inspiring origin stories behind these wines make this an experience to remember.

To further tantalise your taste buds, we pair three wines with perfectly matched, pure dishes crafted by chef Herb, using locally sourced ingredients. Experience at our charming Over-Amstel Farm how wine and food can powerfully enhance each other.

Just before the festive season, our Wine & Food Tasting is the perfect opportunity to enjoy all the beauty and flavours the season has to offer, together with friends or family. Time for connection. Time for flavour. And if you happen to fall in love with one of the wines? You'll have the chance to order them in time for the holidays.

About the Wine & Food Tasting:
During the tasting, you’ll enjoy 8 sample wines (including a non-alcoholic aperitif and a sparkling wine) paired with 3 dishes. The minimum age to participate is 18 years. The cost of the Wine & Food Tasting is €82.50 per person. Registration is required, as spaces are limited.

Programme for the Wine & Food Tasting:
13:00: Departure by boat from Ouderkerk
13:30: Guided tour of the farm
14:00: Start of the workshop, including lunch
16:30: Boat returns to Ouderkerk
