The smell of our freshly baked croissants and bread will lead you directly to our farm shop at Over-Amstel Boerderij. Farm shop manager Pom is more than happy to help you pick out a tasty treat for yourself or select the perfect gift.

A visit to our farm shop is an experience in itself. The store is open-plan and offers a great view of our creamery and salt chamber. Our carefully selected products are displayed on open shelves and behind our natural stone counter.

Our range is extensive, and consists of products made on the farm, from local producers, unique seasonings, surprising beverages and other special treats. Everything bursting with flavour and produced as close to us as possible. Want to have a taste first? We have two tasting stations with a varying range of products for you to try. The farm shop is open every Thursday to Sunday, from 10.00 until 17.00. In our shop, payment can only be made by card or Over-Amstel gift card. Have a question or want to know more? Feel free to contact us.

A selection of our products is made right here on the farm: semi-matured cheese, grilling cheese, and fiore di latte by our cheesemaker Dewi, alongside homemade mustard and sauerkraut by chef Herb. From the bakery of boulanger Olivier come savoury quiches, sweet tarts, freshly baked bread, croissants, and other delights.

You will also find distinctive regional products: cheese from Boeren van Amstel, cured sausages from De Herkomst, honey from beekeepers along the Amstel river, meat from Wild van Wild, eggs from Boerderij Weilust, and salt from Zeeuwsche Zoute.

Looking for a tasteful alternative to alcohol? Choose from syrups, pure fruit juices, botanical brews, loose-leaf herbal teas and sparkling teas.

As a keepsake from Over-Amstel Boerderij, we have our signature water bottle, a wooden crate, a traditional cheesemaking cloth, a white jute bag or a foldable tote bag.

A baguette, something delicious from the Farm Shop and a lovely spot around the farm: sometimes, that’s all you need. For €9.50, you can hire one of our picnic baskets for around two hours. A freshly baked baguette is included, along with a chopping board, a small knife, two glasses, napkins and a bottle opener.

Fill your basket at the Farm Shop with cheeses from our own dairy, local delicacies or anything else that takes your fancy. You’ll also find a selection of non-alcoholic drinks. You’ll find everything you need for your picnic at Over-Amstel Boerderij, so there’s no need to bring anything yourself.

Our picnic baskets are available on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved. Sunny summer days can get pleasantly busy, so we recommend arriving early. Basket filled? Find yourself a lovely spot and enjoy the flavours of the farm.
