Getting Here
Over-Amstel Boerderij is not accessible by car.
A visit to Over-Amstel Boerderij begins with the journey itself. We are a low-traffic location with no on-site parking, and parking along the road is not permitted. Guests should park at Amstel Parking (Amstelzijde, Amstelveen) and continue their journey by boat or on foot. More information can be found below.
Boat boarding location
The boat departs from the quay opposite Restaurant Saam, between Amstelzijde 59 and 47, Amstelveen.
Boat departure times
Regular boat service (Friday to Sunday)
• Departure from the boarding location: every hour on the hour from 9.00 am.
• Return from Over-Amstel Boerderij: every hour on the half hour until 4.30 pm.
• The boat service is free of charge.
Boat departures for themed dinners
• Friday and Saturday evenings: departure at 6.00 pm from the boarding location. After dinner (around 9.30 pm), the boat returns, arriving back at the boarding location at approximately 10.00 pm.
• Sunday evenings: departure at 5.00 pm from the boarding location. After dinner (around 7.30 pm), the boat returns, arriving back at the boarding location at approximately 8.00 pm.
Accessibility
We have a limited number of parking spaces available for guests with reduced mobility. Please contact us by phone to reserve a space using your vehicle registration number. Pushchairs are also welcome on board, and our skipper will be happy to assist with boarding and disembarking.

Friday to Sunday: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. (From September, also open on Thursdays.)
The boat departs every hour on the hour from Friday to Sunday, starting at 9.00 am, from Amstelzijde 59 and 47, Amstelveen. Return journeys depart every hour on the half hour from Over-Amstel Boerderij, with the final return departure at 4.30 pm.
Good to know:
Over-Amstel Boerderij is a smoke-free venue. Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a lead. Only the official Over-Amstel boat is permitted to moor at the farm. There are no mooring facilities for private boats.

How to Get to Over-Amstel Boerderij
Parking with a car
Continuing by boat
Park your car at Amstel Parking (Amstelzijde, 1184 TZ Amstelveen) and walk a few minutes to the boat pick-up location (Amstelzijde 59 and 47). The boat sails on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am on every full hour. Until 4.30pm, the boat departs from Over-Amstel Boerderij every hour at half past.
Continuing on foot
If you prefer to walk, it is 2.4 km (30 minutes) on foot to Over-Amstel Boerderij at Binnenweg 17.
Private (Special) Transport
Cycle or walk from Amsterdam or Ouderkerk along the embankment to Over-Amstel Boerderij. Over-Amstel Boerderij does not have parking on-site or in the immediate surroundings.
If you are disabled, please call us so we can reserve a parking space for you based on your license plate number.

Duivendrechtse Polder
Over-Amstel Boerderij is located on the Amstel in the Duivendrechtse Polder, a region near Amsterdam with a rich rural history. The farm was built in 1894, but agricultural buildings existed on the site before that. Over-Amstel Boerderij has been lovingly restored in recent years, and you are welcome to come and experience it.
