Directions

Over-Amstel Boerderij is located at Binnenweg 17 in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. It sits on the embankment along the river Amstel in the Duivendrechtse Polder. To ensure the area's tranquillity, Over-Amstel Boerderij is not directly accessible by car. Please keep this in mind when planning your visit.

There are various ways to reach us: by bike, by Over-Amstel bike, on foot, or by boat. You can walk from a nearby parking area, use a public transport bike ('OV-fiets'), or step onto our boat, which will take you to our location.

Our boat is recognizable by the blue flag with our logo.. The boat departs on Saturday and Sunday from 10am on every full hour from the quay between Amstelzijde 59 and 47, until 3.30pm, the boat departs back every half hour from Over-Amstel Boerderij to the boarding point (Amstelzijde 59 and 47, Amstelveen). The boat service is free of charge.

Opening Hours:
Friday to Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
The boat departs on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. every hour on the hour from Amstelzijde 59 and 47, Amstelveen and returns every half hour. The last boat leaves at 3:30 PM from Over-Amstel Boerderij. There is no boat service on Fridays.

Good to Know:
Over-Amstel Boerderij is a smoke-free property. Dogs on a leash are welcome.

Parking with a car

Continuing by (the blue) boat
Park your car at Amstel Parking (Amstelzijde, 1184 TZ Amstelveen) and walk a few minutes to the boat pick-up location (Amstelzijde 59 and 47). The boat sails on Saturday and Sunday from 10am on every full hour. Until 3.30pm, the boat departs back from Over-Amstel Boerderij every half hour.

Continuing on foot
If you prefer to walk, it is 2.4 km (30 minutes) on foot to Over-Amstel Boerderij at Binnenweg 17.

Over-Amstel loan bike

Would you prefer not to travel by boat, or is the boat not running? Then, during your restaurant reservation, opt for an Over-Amstel loan bike.

After your restaurant booking confirmation, you will receive an instruction email from us, we'll explain how to download the app to pick up and unlock the bike, and cycle from Amstel Parking (Amstelzijde, 1184 TZ Amstelveen) along the dyke to Over-Amstel Boerderij. (10 minutes)

(The bicycles are to the left of the barrier at the Amstel Parking. That is on this exact location).

Private (Special) Transport

Cycle or walk from Amsterdam or Ouderkerk along the embankment to Over-Amstel Boerderij. Access by car is not possible.

Duivendrechtse Polder

Over-Amstel Boerderij is located on the Amstel in the Duivendrechtse Polder, a region near Amsterdam with a rich rural history. The farm was built in 1894, but agricultural buildings existed on the site before that. Over-Amstel Boerderij has been lovingly restored in recent years, and you are welcome to come and experience it.
