Over-Amstel Boerderij is not accessible by car.

A visit to Over-Amstel Boerderij begins with the journey by boat. We are a low-traffic location without on-site parking, and parking along the road is not permitted. Our guests park at Amstel Parking (Amstelzijde, Amstelveen) and continue their journey by boat, bicycle or on foot. More information can be found below.

Boat departure times:
The blue Over-Amstel boat operates on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9.00 am, on the hour, departing from the quay opposite Restaurant Saam. This is between Amstelzijde 59 and 47, Amstelveen.
For the return journey, the boat departs until 4.30 pm, on the half hour (12:30, 2:30 pm, etc.) from Over-Amstel Boerderij back to the boarding point. The boat service is free of charge.

During themed dinners, the boat departs at 6.00 pm from the location above. A themed dinner ends around 9.30 pm. Afterwards, our boat returns to Ouderkerk and arrives there at around 10.00 pm.

Accessibility:
We have a limited number of parking spaces available for guests with reduced mobility. Please contact us by phone to reserve a space with your licence plate. Prams are also welcome on board, and our skipper will be happy to assist with lifting when boarding and disembarking.

Friday to Sunday: 9.00 am – 5.00 pm.
The boat departs on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9.00 am on the hour from Amstelzijde 59 and 47, Amstelveen, and returns on the half hour. The last return boat departs at 4.30 pm from Over-Amstel Boerderij.

Good to know:
Over-Amstel Boerderij is a non-smoking location. Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead. Only our own Over-Amstel boat can moor at the farm; there is no docking space for private boats.

Parking with a car

Continuing by boat
Park your car at Amstel Parking (Amstelzijde, 1184 TZ Amstelveen) and walk a few minutes to the boat pick-up location (Amstelzijde 59 and 47). The boat sails on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am on every full hour. Until 4.30pm, the boat departs from Over-Amstel Boerderij every hour at half past.

Continuing on foot
If you prefer to walk, it is 2.4 km (30 minutes) on foot to Over-Amstel Boerderij at Binnenweg 17.

Over-Amstel loan bike

Would you prefer not to travel by boat, or is the boat not running? Then, during your restaurant reservation, opt for an Over-Amstel loan bike.

After your restaurant booking confirmation, you will receive an instruction email from us, we'll explain how to download the app to pick up and unlock the bike, and cycle from Amstel Parking (Amstelzijde, 1184 TZ Amstelveen) along the dyke to Over-Amstel Boerderij. (10 minutes)

Private (Special) Transport

Cycle or walk from Amsterdam or Ouderkerk along the embankment to Over-Amstel Boerderij. Over-Amstel Boerderij does not have parking on-site or in the immediate surroundings.

Duivendrechtse Polder

Over-Amstel Boerderij is located on the Amstel in the Duivendrechtse Polder, a region near Amsterdam with a rich rural history. The farm was built in 1894, but agricultural buildings existed on the site before that. Over-Amstel Boerderij has been lovingly restored in recent years, and you are welcome to come and experience it.
